Let’s put food insecurity on ice — “neighbors helping neighbors” style!

We’ve reserved Saturday, June 4, for a family-friendly day of impact in the Bronx!

Here’s what you can expect!

1. Meet in the Bronx at 9am!

We’ll meet at 1957 Turnbull Avenue - just a 20 minute drive from Tamid Westchester - at 9am. Dan Zauderer, Mott Haven Fridge Co-founder and former Bronx school teacher, will tell his story. And we’ll get excited for our day of impact!

2. Sort and pack over 6,000 pounds of fresh produce!

We’ll work together to unload a truck filled with 6,000 lbs of unsold produce rescued from the biggest produce market on the planet. Fun for kids of all ages!

3. Make a delivery to a community in need!

At 10:30am (ish!), we’ll part ways and #drivethedifference. You’ll stop at one of 20+ pre-assigned last-mile community distribution locations - where you’ll be greeted by a community organizer who will distribute your beautiful bounty directly to neighbors in need.
