Here’s what you can expect!
1. Meet in the Bronx!
We’ll meet at 1957 Turnbull Avenue - just 25 minutes away from Larchmont - at 9am. Dan Zauderer, Mott Haven Fridge Co-founder and Hommocks Alum (!!!), will tell his story. And we’ll get excited for our day of impact!
2. Sort and pack over 6,000 pounds of fresh produce.
We’ll work together to unload a truck filled with 6,000 lbs of unsold produce rescued from the biggest produce market on the planet. Fun for kids of all ages!
3. Make a delivery to a community in need!
At 10:30am, we’ll part ways and #drivethedifference. You’ll stop at one of 20+ last-mile community distribution locations - where you’ll be greeted by a community organizer who will distribute your beautiful bounty directly to neighbors in need.
